| The Portland Baptist Church is a member congregation of the Baptist Union of Victoria (BUV). Portland is one of the oldest churches in the Union celebrating its 150th year of worship and service in June 2009. The BUV has been very supportive of the church providing a generous three year grant to enable the church to call Rev Michael Drennan as the church’s first full time Associate Pastor. Michael and his family have come to the church from Woodbridge, Virginia. The church values the pastoral and practical support of the Director of Ministries, Rev Alan Marr, and the Union’s Regional Minister, Rev Steve Venz. BUV |
